All rides for the Chattanooga Chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club are under a 50/40 rule. (50 degrees or above and/or below 40 percent chance of precipitation we will ride).
HOWEVER, it appears that most of the time during the summer, the forecast is just as likely to be 40 percent chance as it is zero percent. SO, with that in mind, there will be e-mail around 8:00AM on Saturday and 12:30PM on Sunday (on the ride weekends) indicating any "Cancellation" of the ride. If there is "NO" e-mail, THEN THE RIDE IS ON!

This decision will be made jointly between the 1st Officer, 2nd Officer and the ride Road Captain. So when rain is in question, start checking your e-mail for ride updates/cancellations. THOSE WITHOUT E-MAIL who may want to ride, please call Del Punneo (423-316-2508) or Michael Brown (423-313-1158) for information on whether the ride is on or not. We may ride in a light rain shower but no Thunder Storms (Lightning and Thunder doesn't mix well with biking!). We will use information provided on the WDSI-61 weather at 10 p.m. for information.

When cold weather approaches, we will ride at 50 degrees or above, using WDSI-61 weather at 10 p.m. for information.
